New Memberships and Renewals for 2010

Major Taylor Cycling Club San Diego is a recreational cycling club open to all levels of
cyclist; from the beginner to the competitive racer.

The club is named in honor of Marshall W "Major" Taylor, a pioneer in American cycling. Arguably the fastest rider in the United States from roughly 1897 to 1900, and who in 1899, became only the world’s second black champion athlete, after boxer George Dixon. The club is inspired by the principals set forth by Marshall "Major" Taylor whose greatest struggle was with "that monster prejudice."

Tour de Cure 2010

On April 17th, 2010, MTCCSD will particpate in the American Diabetes Association (ADA)
Tour de Cure cycling event as a team entry.
